The Kootenay Country Fair is a full day at Fort Steele Heritage Town including contests, an auction & many exhibits such as baked goods, produce & cut flowers, preserves & needlework. There will be a best scarecrow contest as well as a best decorated bike contest. Fort Steele's regular displays & shops will all be open & the Steam Train will be running from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. This will be the last day for the Fort Steele Market. It will be a very fun day from 8:30 am in the morning until 4:30 pm.
