Pick up a brochure at the Visitor Info Centre or the Kootenay Lake Chamber of Commerce to view the amazing talent throughout the Creston Valley. There are numerous galleries and businesses in Creston that display local art work.

Kootenay Country Fair - Fort Steele

The Kootenay Country Fair is a full day at Fort Steele Heritage Town including contests, an auction & many exhibits such as baked goods, produce & cut flowers, preserves & needlework. There will be a best scarecrow contest as well as a best decorated bike contest. Fort Steele's regular displays & shops will all be open & the Steam Train will be running from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. This will be the last day for the Fort Steele Market. It will be a very fun day from 8:30 am in the morning until 4:30 pm.
